About the Chairs' Forum
The Chairs’ Forum (formerly the Chairmen’s Forum) was established over 30 years ago by the chairs of the UK’s systemically important companies. The forum provides a community for Chairs to identify best practices in areas such as effective corporate governance, high quality board evaluation, constructive management of investors, and delivering on responsibilities to other stakeholders and the wider society. It remains an important influence in shaping the practical application of corporate governance and stewardship in the UK today.
Our Vision
Nurturing its legacy role as a discussion and network forum for UK Chairs, there is a strong sense of purpose for the Chairs' Forum to act as the collective voice of senior board leaders on emerging corporate governance developments and other topical issues. Reverting to its original purpose, and building on its engagement with the chairs of FTSE 100, FTSE 250 and other Public Interest Entity companies, the Forum forms an important stakeholder group for engagement with Government, Regulators and investors.
Top Table Events and Engagement
Our prestige events provide an opportunity for the Chairs of the UK's most prominent companies to hear from other key business leaders, and to discuss the key and emerging issues of the day.
Online Webinars and Advocacy
Our online events and publications provide updates and insights on Board issues of the day. As The Chairs' Forum we will seek to engage with policy makers on consultations and key corporate governance reforms, including those pertaining to the future of sustainability and corporate reporting.
Chairs' Forum Steering Committee
The Forum is governed by a Steering Group that includes a number of experienced Board members. The Forum is supported by AICPA® & CIMA®.
